Layout & Coding

Wow, this is probably the most simple layout I've ever seen. But I am loving it so far. It's so artistic-looking and beautiful. The white, black and blue look amazing together. You've definitely got "sweet and simple" down pat. The font used for the site name looks nice. I think this is the first site I've been to that doesn't have the blog on the main page. The brushes you used look amazing. I'm in love with the whole layout. I hope the rest of your site is equally impressive.
As for your coding, it needs a bit of work. You have no doctype! You only have 11 errors, according to this validator, and most of them could be fixed by adding a doctype. Your coding would be very easy to fix if you just took the time out one day to get it done.

Content

Artwork: This opened in a new page and is displayed very nicely. It's so organized and easy for me to see all of your works. Most of them are very good, although I was suprised to see some celebrity content. I just assumed it was going to be drawings, haha. The blends are nicely blended and I like the coloring.
Blog & Updates: The text on your blog is very hard to read. I had to scoot closer to my screen to be able to read it. You do seem to blog on a regular basis, which is nice. I suggest switching from Cutenews to something else, though. A lot of people are having problems with Cutenews and spam lately. Fanupdate is a really good blogging system.
Nickolena: The hover effect for your links on this page is strange. I don't know if it's meant to be that way, but here's what is happening:
See how it's all overlappy looking? This section contains information about the owner and information about the site. Let's start with the About Me page. There's that hard-to-read text again. Wow, you've included some interesting things about yourself. I feel like I did get to know you, which is a good thing on these types of pages. You've even included some somewhat random information, which I like. Artsy and athletic? What a combination! There were a few spelling/grammar errors here:
- unknow should be unknown
- "...Its the best on their is..." should be "...It's the best one there is..."
- Next is your About The Site page. This section is very interesting as well. You're one of the few who didn't get started on Piczo (I didn't either, thank goodness). Are you still hosted by Opheliac? I was a little confused at the end. A few more spelling mistakes:
- simpiler should be simpler
- "let you done" should be "let you down"
Your affiliates page is pretty standard. You don't have a form to apply with, applicants are supposed to send an Email. I really think you should add a form, most people don't like to go all the way to their Email account to apply for something at a website. Your credits page is pretty long, which makes me assume that you did credit everyone you were supposed to. You aren't crediting your host, however. Your Link Back page is standard, I like your buttons! Especially the first one.
Tagboard: There isn't much to comment on here. I like the colors, although the light greenish-blue doesn't really match your layout. I'm unclear of why you really need to have the Cbox, you already have a way for people to comment on your blogs. I guess this is just so people can say "Hey, I like your site".
Visione: This is like another site, so I'm not going to review it.

Overall

I was very impressed with your website, Nickolena. There were just a few spelling and grammar errors for you to fix and your coding needs to be validated. You have an eye for what looks good and I'm very impressed. Keep up the great work!
