Flashice
Layout & Coding
Haha, the name Flashice reminds me of lice for some reason. That's pretty gross, but also irrelevant. Anyway, the first thing I notice when your site loads is this:

The image just randomly cuts off at the top. It needs to be moved up like 75px or so. Other than that, the image is hot. I love how it's really light and semi-transparent on top of the grey background. I like the images of Christina Aguilera that you used. The image is very well made, actually. Another thing I love is that the image is on the right side, instead of on the top like most websites. However, this may cause horizontal scrollbars on smaller screens. You've got to think about how your site will look on all browsers and resolutions. Your actual content DIV is in the middle. The white background is a nice break from the solid grey. Your sidebar -whoa random pop ups, not sure what that was about- is organized well. But your affiliate section is titled
Affices. What is
Affices?? Do you mean
affies? Please fix that. At the end of your welcome message there is the word "Favourites:" and I'm not really sure what that's for.

I almost didn't even notice your navigation up there at the top. There's nothing special about it that draws me to it. It's a white block with some small black text. I suggest making the text bigger or something because right now it's pretty boring. In fact, to be really honest, the whole layout is boring except the image. You've got this really amazing image with this super bland CSS. Oh, the CSS, I haven't even commented on it yet. The text is a good size, easy to read. But the pink color of your bold text is very hard to read on top of the grey. The tet on your sidebar is centered, which doesn't look good in my opinion. Your headers on the sidebar are okay, but the header for your blog is hard to read. And like I said before, something should be done about the navigation links. The website needs to be taken up to the standard that your image is at, because the image is amazing.
As for your coding, well... it's not good. According to
this validator, you've got 122 errors. You don't even have a doctype! The coding needs to be cleaned up. A lot of this could be fixed really easily, actually. I suggest taking a look and getting that fixed.
Content
Owner: You've got this page laid out nicely. You've got two links here,
autobiography and
photo album. Let's have a look at your autobiography first. You've certainly included lots of information here. I enjoyed reading it and I feel like I did learn quite a bit about you. There were a few spelling/grammar errors.

The rest of the information on the page is great, you have a wishlist which I see has gotten a few things crossed off already! On your photoalbum, I don't really have much to comment on except maybe to center your thumbnails so the page will look nicer.
Portfolio: At the top, the disclaimer needs to be rewritten properly, like this:
The artwork on the following pages was created by me and is therefore copyrighted to me. No redistributing, editing or claiming as your own.
The first link is for your artwork. There is one graphic here, a graphic of Eva Longoria on a notebook. Now, can you really say this picture is copyrighted to you? Unless you took that photo of Eva yourself, this picture is
not copyrighted to you, therefore you shouldn't take credit. I'm not downing your use of celebrity images because I use them myself, but you certainly can't take credit for the photos you didn't take. You tell visitors not to redistribute, but that's exactly what you're doing with that photo of Eva. Next are your own drawings. Now, these
are copyrighted to you. You actually drew these, they are
your pieces of art. These are very good, you certainly have talent! I like your photography as well.
Content: I'm noticing that you've got a set of rules at the top of every single page. They all pretty much say the same thing, so why not just have it at the top of the main page instead of plastering it all over the place? It gets a little annoying to have someone basically shouting "DON'T STEAL MY STUFF" while I'm browsing a site. Your bullets are nice, lots of different colors for people to choose from. Your icons are pretty good, that first Ashley Tisdale one is a little strange though. With the blocks on her face. Most of the effects used on your icons look awesome. There are a few that could use some work, but otherwise nice job. You have a lot of them as well. My favorites are the ones of the flowers. Your pixels are okay, the shading could really use some work. The nail polishes don't even look shaded at all. I doubt people really use these, so they are kind of pointless to have. Your PNGs are well-cut. You actually did a great job on those, and you do have quite a few of them. Whoa, another random pop-up. What the heck is going on? Anyway, next are scans. Nothing to comment on because you just scanned them from a magazine. You only have one stock image here, I suggest adding more. I like the one you do have, though. Next you have a few groups of tutorials. Each of these groups only has one or two tutorials in it, so why not just house them all on the main page? Your CSS tutorial doesn't work (404 error). You have a tutorial on showing Cutenews, which is probably pretty helpful for those clueless about Cutenews. You have two PSP tutorials. The first is for adding borders, the second is for cropping. Both of those are pretty easy to figure out, but I guess these tutorials could be helpful if someone seriously has no clue about graphics programs. Your last tutorial is on dowloading fonts. That's probably the most useful tutorial on your site. All of your tutorials were well-written and easy to understand. Good job on them. Moving on... we are at the downloads. Brushes are first - I actually really like these. I would use them, especially the first set. You have a page of fonts which you didn't even make. You shouldn't be redistributing these, you don't even credit the actual makers. I suggest taking them down. I like your PSP Actions, they are well made. I'm not a big fan of your web icons, I think they need some shading.
Domain:This section is standard for most websites. Not much to review here, your pages are laid out nicely. Most of your previous layouts have much nicer looking CSS than what you're currently using.
Reviews: First of all, let's talk about that queue. Both of those sites were submitted in October and you haven't gotten to them yet? If you don't have time to get your sites completed, don't offer this. Your reviews seem to be quite fair and your set of rules is fine.
Extras: You have challenges, which is a fun thing for your visitors to do. But there is no time frame and the cbox will probably make things really confusing.
Overall
I am having so many mixed feelings about your website, Jasmin. On one hand, your layout image is awesome and so are a lot of your graphics. You have talent. On the other hand, you had quite a few spelling/grammar mistakes and your coding is a disaster. You really need to follow some tutorials and get your coding validated. You also need to fix your spelling and grammar errors. All in all, you've got a lot of really great content but the display of it needs some work. Good luck in the future!
