Layout & Coding

The first thing I'm thinking is that your site looks a bit bland. I really think a patterened or textured background might spice things up a bit. Right now, the grey background is so boring and on my wide screen I see so much of it to the right of the layout. Your layout/content only takes up half my screen, the rest is plain grey background. I do actually like the image you're using, though. The pink effect of the shirt is really nice looking. I like the way he's posed and everything. Maybe you could add a little more to the picture, though. A border around him, or a few brushes could really liven up your image and make your site look more interesting. The CSS is also very plain, what's the color scheme here, white and grey? Add something more to your headers, the ones on the sidebar are just white, like all the other text. At least your links hover to a blue color - that looks good. Your sidebar is organized well and is a good distance away from your blog. You should center the button in your advertising section. Wow, you like to eat pickled onions? I've never tried those. Your site looks identical in Firefox and Internet Explorer, so that's good. According to this validator, you've got some errors in your coding. These look like pretty easy-to-fix things, like adding alt tags to all of your images. I suggest checking that out, you could probably validate your coding pretty quickly.

Content

Bambi: This section is very nice, you've included a lot of information about yourself. I enjoyed reading it and I think your other visitors will, too. There were just a few grammar mistakes that I found:
- "...of people I lost all but three..." should be "... of people; I lost all but three..."
- her self should be herself
- Donwpour should be Downpour
The one thing I noticed that you don't have here is your contact information, I suggest adding that so that people know how to get in touch with you if they need to.
Content: At the top, the way you have your rules is a little cheesy with the "Hard?" and "Yeah you can start looking now". Oh, and there should be a comma between these and credit. The first section is for tutorials. The one on how to save gimp brushes is very easy to understand. Apparently, this is something that is hard for people to figure out, so it's nice that you've included a tutorial on it. I've never used Gimp so I don't really know if this tutorial is helpful or not, but I'm assuming that it is. Your CSS tutorial on two row links is not a CSS tutorial at all. It's a tutorial on tables. This actually has nothing to do with CSS; it should be changed to Tables and moved to the HTML section. Your maintenance mode tutorial for Wordpress is well-written and probably very helpful when it comes to changing a layout for Wordpress. Your favicon tutorial is actually a little confusing. You are saying that they should upload their favicon to some website and then download it and move it to pictures and then upload to their site by FTP and then put in the code - do you see how confusing that is? And you've put way too many steps into it. All that's needed for a favicon is this: make the image, upload it to your site, add the code. Very simple. I suggest decluttering this tutorial. Look at my tutorial on favicons: here. It's two steps. After your tutorials, you have a section for graphics. The only thing you have here is favicons. Your website is only about a month old, so I'm guessing you'll be adding more graphics in the future. The four favicons you have here are okay. Nothing really stands out, and what is that last one? I can't figure it out. I doubt I would use these because they are very plain and boring.
Domain: You've got your webdesigning history here and why you chose the name Bambi's Breakfast. It's good that you have that, because I've been wondering where the name came from. You also have your credits here and a link button. This section is pretty standard, actually.

Overall

Right now, there isn't much content at Bambi's Breakfast. I hope you add more in the future because I'd like to see what else you can do. There are a few things you need to work on, but all in all I did enjoy reviewing your site. I was glad to see that you only had a few grammar mistakes! Good luck to your site!
