I know, I know… I just blogged two days ago. But I felt the need to blog so whatev. First of all, thanks for all the lovely comments on my family pictures! Everyone really seemed to like the one of John and me the best. That’s my favorite, too. Even though I’m smiling all big and strange in it.

So the new layout was put up yesterday, in case you haven’t noticed. Although it would be pretty strange if you didn’t notice, since it’s completely different. Unless it’s your first time here. But I’m getting sidetracked—so what do you think? When I was making it and testing it and all that, I was super proud of it and liked it a lot. Then I officially put it up and… well, I feel like it looks stupid now. Okay, I like how I laid the images of Avril out, but it’s the brushes that I’m unsure about. I don’t know, tell me what you guys think. As far as CSS goes, I’m in love with it. I love the colors and everything, it’s so different from anything I’ve done in the past. Hmm, maybe that’s why I’m so unsure about this layout. C’mon, Desiree, change is good.

I also went through and revamped all my pages. Wow, that took a million years. They were pretty messed up, though. While fixing up my pages, guess what else I did. Come on, guess! Okay, I’ll just tell you. I validated all of my coding. It was so effed up before. There was like a mix of HTML and XHTML and it was just really crappy and there were like 57248032482 errors (not really, but you get my point). So I got all of my coding converted to XHTML and it’s all valid now. Check it if you want. I’m super happy. I also validated my CSS so go me! I was a busy girl yesterday. Didn’t finish those reviews yet, though. I will do them today, there are only two and both were sent in just four days ago. So I’m not really too far behind.

Something is wrong with my mouse. When I click only once, it acts like I double clicked. It’s kind of hard to explain, actually. And when I’m highlighting text or dragging something, it randomly stops like I clicked! So I haven’t even been able to really use the pen tool and stuff on Photoshop. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

A lot of you probably don’t know this, but it’s on my About Me page, so you should have read it but anyway… I’m trying to get back into school next fall for the Medical Sonography program. I want to become an Ultrasound Technician. Well, I’m already accepted into the college that I went to for a few months back when I was 18 (I dropped out, was an idiot, but I’m ready to go back now). Well, I have to take the placement test on December 02. I took a practice Accuplacer online and my math was pretty rusty. So I’ve been reteaching myself Algebra. Have you ever tried to learn math on your own? Yeah, not easy. In school, I was really good at math—it was one of my best subjects. But teaching it to myself is a real pain in the ass. But on Saturday I took another practice test and I only got four questions wrong. So I must be doing a good job so far. I need to keep studying, though. In order for me to get into the Medical Sonography program, I have to practically get a perfect score because it’s such a competitive program. I’m super nervous about it, but I’m just going to stay optimistic. If I don’t get into the program, I’ll just go for General Ed and try again the next year. But I’ll probably cry

You have nine more days to get your Drew Barrymore icons in for the icon challenge! I’ve gotten quite a few entries so far. But, there are only three days left to enter the Photography Contest at supeRAWR MB. I’m pretty dissapointed that I’ve only gotten three entries this month. Where are you photo-takers at?
